  • Adult Programs:Comprehensive medical care for needy: elderly, disabled, blind, children, pregnant women.
  • Programs for Children: Healthy Steps Children's Health Insurance Plan (CHIP) Provides comprehensive health care coverage for uninsured children.
  • Medication Programs: Prescription Connection for North Dakota- RxConnectnd Connects qualified, low-income people with patient assistance programs for low-cost/free prescription drugs.

Health Reform Status

Exchange: The federal government will run the health insurance exchange in North Dakota.

Medicaid: The state will expand Medicaid eligibility.
